Ready to get back behind the wheel? Truck Dynasty Driving Academy offers a tailored Refresher Course for Class A CDL holders looking to polish their skills before re-entering the trucking industry. This course is ideal for drivers who haven’t operated a semi-tractor trailer in an over-the-road capacity for 18 months or more. Our Refresher Course is available in one- or two-week formats, customized to your current skill level. Before enrollment, we assess your abilities through a comprehensive evaluation, including:
Pre-Trip Inspection: Demonstrate your knowledge of vehicle safety and readiness.
Backing Maneuvers: Master the essential backing techniques.
Road Performance: Showcase your driving proficiency.
To qualify for the one-week course, drivers must achieve at least 75% on the pre-trip inspection, lose no more than 8 points on backing maneuvers, and no more than 15 points on the road test. If additional training is needed, our two-week course ensures you’re fully prepared to hit the road with confidence.
